Ragasco presents a breakthrough in LPG cylinder design. Using advanced technology we have created a transparent composite cylinder with some amazing advantages over traditional cylindes.

The gas level is visible thanks to the special see-through construction and when empty the cylinder weighs about 50 % less than typical cylinders.

Ragasco has since 1995 been developing and manufacturing CNG composite cylinders. In the early phase T3 composite cylinders for buses and trucks were delivered mainly to European customers. Since 2006 Ragasco has developed a new line of CNG products based on T4 composite technology using plastic material as the inner liner. This has enabled a cost reduction making these light weight cylinders also interesting to the cost competitive automotive sector. A new version of these cylinders was made available to the market in 2011 enabling permeation levels far below the requirements in the applicable regulations. All products are certified in accordance with ECE R110 and ISO 11439. 

The main benefits of the Ragasco cylinders are: 

• Over 70% weight saving compared to Type 1 steel cylinders
